Spoon Fly Pre-Cut Templets

Truly the easiest way to tie a spoon fly is from the PRE-CUT Spoon Fly pattern. All patterns are for #2 34007 Mustad hooks. All you do is to tie the tail, add flash, peel off the spoon pattern, and tie on using the front and rear tabs on the pattern, that easy. They come in several different colors. The color shown is "PEACH RAIN" and has a pinkish tent. All Spoon Fly patterns already have the acetate attached to the mylar. Each strip of patterns contains 12 pre-cut spoons. Colors are: Peach Rain - Dark Brown (flounder) - Chartreuse - Red - Copper Circles - Green Bubbles - Pink Sparkle - Orange Sparkle - Purple sparkles - Silver Plaid - WHITE SPARKLES. Here is a step by step web page that will help. click on the hook shape photo and you can print it out and use it as a template. http://www.nwmangum.com/spoonfly Here is a testimony from Freshwater in Wi. Hi Connie, Just had to let you know that the spoon fly works great in fresh water. Tied up a variety of flies (black, chartreuse and pink) and gave them a try today. On the first cast with the chartreuse, a Northern Pike ripped it off so fast didnt know what hit. Switched to the Redfish Special and the next 3 casts produced a 17, 19 ½ and 21" Smallmouth Bass. Thereafter, almost every other cast had a hit or hook-up. This is an area that produces well for a few weeks in May, but nothing like that. The spin fishermen were in awe at the success and size. Needless to say, I'm a believer and will keep on trying them elsewhere. Can't wait to get back down to Tybee Island this winter and hit the cuts for Trout, Reds and Flounder. Will keep you posted on my success. Steve Sister Bay, WI
